| 11.23.06 | Cinemark Round Rock 14 | Happy Thanksgiving. I'm not a big fan of the traditional 1pm turkey/stuffing/cranberry sauce ritual... so I decided to hit up a few of the no-kidding ton of first-run movies I want to see. This... well it's about Bobby Kennedy I guess even though he's not really in it till the end. I guess they couldn't call the movie "the bunch of meaningless people who also got hurt when Bobby was killed" though... but that's basically what it was. it went all over the Ambassador hotel and followed like 30 people around for 5 minutes at a time then ended. there are a crapload of recognizable stars but it's just... well... it's just not a very good movie. it's boring, all of the little stories and scenes are bad, it really didn't go anywhere, wasn't about anything, and didn't really serve any purpose... yeah, kind of a waste. |
