| 05.13.07 | Alamo South Lamar | Took my parents to see this. I thought it was really funny, but it was clear to me that my mom, who's much more familiar with the world of competitive figure skating, thought it was much much funnier. It is kind of a rehash of previous Will Ferrell efforts - there seems to be a genre building of childish sport comedies (Talladega Nights, Dodgeball, Blades of Glory, Balls of Fury) - that all employ the same kind of humor, characters, and plots... but whatever. I thought this was funny. |
