There's some unconsciouss reason why it doesn't interest me; I can't come up with a valid reason other than I am just not interested. I would say it's because his stuff seems tailored to geeky inside jokes, but I like Monty Python & The Holy Grail and they are like the kings of geeky inside jokes. In any case, I should've probably liked this movie because I like all the cast involved but it left me feeling like it was wacky for wackiness sake, and the vogons were too ugly to be funny so that confused me and marvin the paranoid android wasn't really paranoid at all so that confused me too. Maybe it's a case of knowing just enough about the source material to get into trouble... for me, the best part was the first scene where Mos Def is drinking all the beer he can. From there it's just too groundless for me I think, or whatever the reason is...
