| 09.30.10 | Alamo South Lamar | This Screening is part of event: FantasticFest 2010 Typical kung fu film. I should've stayed at work I think. I was completely bored by this. I don't care about ancient Chinese settings, boring quests that make no sense, or flat characters that I don't understand. The kicking and punching is all polished to the point of familiar choreography to me now so it's not exciting at all. At least with Gallants it was old people to kind of mess with the formula a bit. This was completely by the numbers and I was bored as shit. I don't know if the movie was bad or good; all I can say is that I didn't like it. |
