| 09.25.12 | Alamo South Lamar | This Screening is part of event: FantasticFest 2012 A Spanish thriller about a dirty cop who kills some dudes in a drunken rage then spends the whole movie trying to track down a witness who happens to be tied into some crazy drug gang or something. It's kind of confusing since there's 2 completely separate groups searching for the same dudes from either end of the investigation, but maybe if it were in English and went by a bit faster I would've found it less so. So it's kind of a long wait but when the two investigations do converge and Stuff actually Happens, it's pretty decent. On a whole the movie's not bad at all and when I look back I like it, but I do remember it being a tad bit slow. Worth checking out though if you're into that kind of thing. |
