| 08.03.13 | Netflix | The new Muppets movie. I like how they treat the universe as if the Muppets Show really existed but also where the Muppets are real instead of puppets. I feel like that gave the movie a basis to get as goofy as it wants to be (which is pretty damn goofy) and still tap into some emotion when need be. For a Muppets movie I thought this was pretty great. I mean that like there's nothing here I wouldn't want in a Muppets movie and can't think of anything not here that I missed. The goofy humor worked on me. I liked it. |
