| 02.17.14 | Netflix | Impressively minimalist movie about an old man and the sea. Redford easily carries a role which requires unbelievable amounts of heavy lifting. I guess it was time he reminded everybody that he was a great actor before his directing career. There were a few times where I wondered how much time was left but that was mostly due to me having no clue where the movie was going rather than boredom. Really riveting movie. Liked it a lot. |
