| 04.04.14 | Netflix | I'm a relatively new fan of Gavin McInnes. I think I first saw him in what is still my favorite thing that he's done: a youtube video called How to Piss in Public. So... large parts of this movie feel very similar to that which I love. Just Gavin's outlook on life and his missives of confident advice are really charismatic and funny and true. The parts of the movie where it tries to be a movie... like with plot and drama and acting... those don't play quite as well. Whatever though, it's still a funny movie and the good parts are well worth watching. It's certainly funnier than Tadpole. Remember when everyone was raving about Tadpole? What the fuck was that about!? |
