| 06.29.14 | Netflix | Pretty much everyone says this movie is good but something about it made me avoid it until now. It was ok. I guess instead of it being the story of how this event happened I should look at it more as a profile of the guy who would think to do it... but for whatever reason I was never really engaged or interested 100$. Toward the end there are some good interview bits where his personality leads him to say some awesomely French things, and I guess there's some iconographic importance imbued with the World Trade Center towers that gives the whole movie another level of emotion or whatever... but mostly I was meh on the whole thing. At least now I've seen it and don't have to see it on my queue anymore. |
