| 10.06.14 | Netflix | This is a low budget post-apocalyptic Italian picture heavily influenced by Mad Max. It's pretty typical euro fun... lots weird "driving machines" (as Fred Williamson says in his interview) modded out with weaponry and a nonsensical plot just there enough to make a convenient excuse to blow shit up. Still, there's some good stuff here (the cause of the apocalypse? books! who knew!?) like this weird blonde kid who's somehow a master mechanic and stunt driver and The Hammer blowing up like 50 people in a row with a bow and explosive arrows. |
