| 06.03.15 | Netflix | This one's been on my instant queue for about 3 years. Finally saw it. Just as I had heard, they managed to take a sensational story about a chilling dude played by a great actor and make a boring movie out of it. The 90s HBO specials interviewing the real guy are soooo much better than this movie. And I really have to blame the director here. It's just not very engaging. I wanted to fill in another patch of my newfound nyc mafia fascination but I really should have re-watched Donnie Brasco instead. Hmm... |
