| 09.24.15 | Alamo South Lamar | This Screening is part of event: FantasticFest 2015 The Rooster Teeth movie. I kind of new what to expect of this going in, but I wanted to give the local guys the benefit of the doubt. It kind of sucked. I mean, I guess it's admirable that they made a feature or whatever and there are plenty of visual effects for a relatively small budget, but you know... For as much pride that Austin has in its film culture, you'd think we could make better movies. We SHOULD be making better movies, so if anything, films like this should be scrutinized to a higher degree rather than being praised just for existing. Anyway... |
