| 09.25.15 | Alamo South Lamar | This Screening is part of event: FantasticFest 2015 This is more or less a collection of fairy tales intercut with one another. It had an interesting cast (For the second time, John C. Reilly makes an appearance in an interesting role that should've stuck around longer). The scenery and costumes were really nice and pretty, but once again it had a deliberate, almost plodding pace that made staying awake an activity for me rather than a passive state. I feel like it's ok to fall asleep in the midnight movie, but I shouldn't be doing it at six pm. I am out of movie-watching shape. Anyway, this one was ok. |
