| 09.27.15 | Alamo South Lamar | This Screening is part of event: FantasticFest 2015 This was about a couple hitmen playing cat and mouse with each other. It was kind of billed as a quirky dark comedy but I thought it had several plot and tonal problems that kept me from really loving it. Still, it wasn't bad and there were a few moments of good stuff. There were a lot of movies that wound up being more good than bad but somewhere in that realm of mediocrity. I'll take that over painfully horrible movies any day, but they are kind of hard to talk about it. This is one of them. From now on I'll tag these movies as MGTB because I can't be bothered to actually type out "more good than bad" every time. |
