| 10.10.15 | MUBI | PTA Followed Johnny Greenwood to India to make a record. This is very much a performance/fly on the wall doc and less any sort of narrative. The music is good - I recommend wearing headphones - but it's less than an hour long and really, aside from the performances, there's not much here. Not that there has to be, but I don't know... I feel like we could've used at least a few minutes between Greenwood and Shye Ben Tzur talking about their collaboration and how the project came about. The film doesn't really explain anything. But the performances are good and the music's good so I wasn't bored or anything. I found it to be worth watching. |
