| 02.12.16 | Netflix | Freaking loved this. So great. Great music, great script, great performances, great direction. There's a feeling of lightness and positivity throughout even when it's dealing with pretty serious subject matter, the film constantly defies expectations and perfectly mixes modern day atmosphere with really great 90s nostalgia and music. Man, what a soundtrack. This kind of reminded me of Scott Pilgrim in some indirect ways. And I have to say... a master class on 90s dance moves during the end credits. Amazing stuff. loved it loved it loved it. |
