| 01.08.17 | Internet | I liked this one pretty good. The end gets pretty action-y but it feels deserved and not too barfy. I did like the first half more, but that's alright. I think that's because i'm still not 100% on Jon Bernthal. At this point I feel like I should like him, but I still don't. I can't really put my finger on it either... But other than that, I liked this. I was happily surprised to see John Lithgow and Anna Kendrick in this. I feel like they give the film a level of respect that might elevate it from a Jason Statham movie or whatever. |
