09.28.25 | Internet | Youtube forced a couple 10-minute clips of this movie down my throat so I thought I'd watch the other 100 minutes to make it stop. The clips in question were the fight sequences which are indisputably the highlights of this movie, but the rest is decent too. I liked this pretty good but really don't have much to say. I probably liked it more this time? vs. initial viewing? Mostly I think I should shift some video game time back into movies if all it takes is a couple youtube clips to get me to watch these random movies again. |
08.08.12 | Netflix | Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton kick the crap out of each other because Nick Nolte was a bad father in this exceptionally well-executed MMA fighting movie. I don't really have much to say. It's not like it played out any differently than I thought it would but the film is so well-acted and directed that it's good anyway. Not like showy Raging Bull direction or anything but you know, solid naturalistic realism. Solid movie. |
