| 10.19.05 | Netflix | bizarre. The title and the trailer are definitely the best things about this movie. It's about a theater director and an acting troupe, i think, who sail out to a burial island for... some reason... then the director scares the actors by having other actors get made up and play dead.... but then he takes a real dead body and tries to re-animate it unsuccessfully...then he wants to marry it or something... but then the dead do start coming back to life and the movie just goes all over the place from there. I'm glad I've seen this now... continuing my education in exploitation film, but it's not one to write home about. |
